Got engaged here on top of the biggest hill... Beautiful views over the lake. Great hiking and cross country skiing. Lots of hills and elevation changes. Hills are steep making skiing challenging. Check out the lookout tower if you are in shape. Dogs allowed! Good picnic areas with reservable shelters. Crowded on summer weekends. Wheelchair accessible boardwalk trail. Lake is not too crowded... good for boating and sail boarding. sand bathing beach .Have fun!

We went for a moonlight hike on Saturday, 2/10. We had a wonderful time. The trails were in good shape, the bonfire was roaring, and my son appreciated all of the Wisconsin mammals on display.
