We loved this trail. It was short, but very fun and interesting. We walked passed the brochure when we arrived. Don't forget to take the brochure, it tells the history of each marker #

Nice paved trails for easy access. Water is very clear in most areas. Trout ponds present, but no trout to be seen while I was there. Needs a little TLC to take care of graffiti and littering. Overall a nice place to go for a nature walk.

While once a beautiful site, it now has generally fallen into disrepair. Interpretive signs were missing or vandalized; junk piled up in some of the former holding ponds; yellow construction tape just laying around. There's no pond left due to problems with the dam so no fish either. I hope the DNR finds the funding to return this to a top-notch place to visit.

January 31st I went with my oldest son. Enjoyed the visit after last being here in 1979 or so partying w high school friends. Note: We vandalized nothing and packed our garbage out.
