Best Buy

Really , the only game in town. Wal-Mart and Target have some videos but for now, in Hickory, the only place that has a semi-reasonable selection of movies and TV series. Prices and selection has varied (now decreased selection and minor price changes). They only keep a limited number of copies of things that are older and not on sale, quickly offers to order it for you if you can wait. Barnes and Noble have larger selection and higher prices. TV selection looks good, but computer section squeezed out by phones.

Purchased a laptop 7 months ago and the laptop was damaged in an automobile accident. Best buy did not have replacement charger or the ability to order for me to purchase. I ordered the charger online from Amazon. I needed a report for the insurance company and this is another service best buy does not offer. What can they do? This laptop is needed for school and it still works but with issues. I only wanted help so that it can be repaired or replaced. The staff was not helpful at all.

We went into the store with a somewhat unusual goal; find an outdoor audio system that had CD capabilities; everyone wants streaming or bluetooth, something a little more high tech. However, we have a 30+ year collection of CDs that we wanted to be able to listen to while chilling out on the pergola, grilling or just hanging out. We had two staff members that went above and beyond to make sure we understood the pros and cons of the two systems we ended up considering, and base on their recommendation, ended up choosing the less expensive of the two. We've only had it two weeks, but so far its awesome!!

Best Buy no longer has the only reason to go there... Best Buy has now kicked out Samsung and no longer can help with technical issues. Why would I go to a tech store to buy something when there is no technical support. I'll just continue buying things online because they're cheaper that way anyways

Purchased a new laptop on April 20, 2018. Service was excellent, and there was an enormous variety to chose from. Representative was very knowledgeable about the laptops. I truly feel like I purchased the perfect laptop for my needs.
