Best Buy

Went and used my "upgrade" for my AT&T phone here. The customer service folks in the cell phone area were top-notch; they took their time and helped me work through all my questions. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because they didn't have one of the phones I was interested in stock (apparently they are the smallest of the Best Buys in Metairie). Otherwise, it was an excellent experience.

Go to the one further down Veteran's Blvd toward Kenner. Have had 2 nightmarish pickup order experiences here. To say the associates were apathetic to my customer service experience here would be giving them way too much credit - they were really borderline rude.

Great store! Lots of merchandise at reasonable prices. The frame shop is top notch!

Is it possible to give negative stars?? Worst experience ever. A simple online laptop purchase required 4 hours on the phone with customer support only to be sent to the store and stuck for two hours after being assured by the manager that it was all resolved and would be ready in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, they are saying the order was cancelled (had to be on their end) and no apology, no explanation, just complete incompetence and impossibly unhelpful staff. Also, the returns line is full of unsatisfied people with broken or non-functioning electronics and the management cannot even account for their actions. I highly recommend going anywhere BUT Best Buy!!!
