I can only give this shop a below-average rating, which is sad, because I really was open to liking you. I've been there 3 times and each visit my experience was GREAT > Neutral > deteriorating to OFFENDED. And thats my lasting impression from several months ago. I want to commend MATT GAUTHIER (his name is on my receipt!) for helping me when I first came in and making it a pleasurable experience. Not my first rodeo, though, I came in with equipment I purchased in 2012 when I sent myself away to graduate school. I also had my cigarette habit licked but school and moving back to Louisiana was too stressful and I lit up again for 5 more f'in years. Before I go on, just want to comment on other aspects of the store. I had NO IDEA there's military discounts, which frankly is _odd_ because my drivers license, which they check EVERY time (twice one day!) It says bold as brass VETERAN! Come on, man.. Also, there's a charge to taste the juice before you buy it! I think $0.25 - For reals?? Smelling is free, though. Wow. I'm sure there's no refunds on juice either, as "taste is subjective" is the usual line. Other than that, you walk in through a heavy haze and since space is pretty tight so I felt pressure as everyone wheels around to look, and awkward while I browsed the counter and asked for prices. The shop does have a couch and free water/coffee (was empty twice), but I didn't feel tempted to hang around with what seemed like a clique of geek bros (sorry LOL). In fact I've only seen one other woman in there. I tthink it'd be cool though, with all that know-how to host demos or autopsies on the geekware. Yeah, I'm a geek, too, especially about flavors and recipes. Maybe some weekend taste-testing or something that'd show customers what the CANNOT live without. Have you done that? It'd make for an open community kinda feel... Yeah, thank me later by doubling my discount OK? Also, I'm available for consultation. Anyway! I came into the shop with older basic equipment, saying I knew there had been advances in technology but I was down to only 3 cigs/day and wanted to keep it simple and use what I had that worked as I just quit for good. MATT understood, didn't pressure me but introduced and sold me a glassomizer while explaining replaceable coils. It was a bit of an upsell for me, but took me a comfortqble one level up. I got a battery like I had in the past, a FABULOUS juice which Matt chose immediately based on what the flavor I've liked in the past and DID NOT laugh at me when I tried vaping several times but forgot I had to press the firing button. I was able to laugh at myself. He threw in a couple extra cheap silicone drip tips when I bought plain 510 atomizers for dripping/testing, but it was the thought that counted! GREAT EXPERIENCE - make that man your go-to customer service manager, promote him with a raise! Seriously. My final time was to return for a replacement on my battery which was malfunctioning before the 30-day window. I was made to feel like a fool by some know-it-all, wannabe arrogant but only flippant man child who - though already agreeing to replace it - made it a point to argue with me several times about whether there was a malfunction at all (as if I have nothing better to do than drive 30 mins. across the entire city)! When I directly said I was insulted by his attitude and talking-down to me about irrelevant technical aspects, he feigned innocence so that I actually apologized. Though later I thought it through and, yes his attitude was terrible and I was absolutely right -- and that PISSES me off. That guy's name is on my receipt, too, though I won't publish it here. Remember, I'm available for consultation and can work with your team on customer service, too! Seriously. Give me a reason to come back 'cuz I'm buying everything online now.

I'd never go anywhere else. Everytime I go in, the gentlemen always go out of their way to help me and make sure I get exactly the right thing I'm looking for. Their flavors are the best for my taste buds and I have tried other places closer to my house but I don't mind driving a little bit longer to get the service and product I'm looking for. Give them a try. You definitely won't be sorry.
