I was in Washington, DC for a couple of days and was offered a tour on a Big Bus on an open-air bus. Drizzled for most of the tour, but not to worry, because they furnished ponchos! We had less than 3 hours to see the sights of DC and walked through 3 specific "monuments" - the FDR Gardens, the Vietnam War exhibit and the Korean War exhibit. Tom Thompson was our guide and I am glad that I didn't back out because of the weather. Mr. Thompson was so knowledgeable and pointed out so many details from each exhibit, that made the tour seem personalized. I really can't say enough positive things about Mr.Thompson. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience today at pentagon city mall location. The person selling tickets did not arrive prior to bus .She actually rides bus. About 15 people needed to buy tickets, in freezing weather, and bus driver takes off and none of us could get on bus. I knocked on window, tickets in hand, and he drove off. Bus number 1. Horrible service, no apology from employees, and no concern for anyone but they sure got their ticket sales. I will be sure to share my experience with everyone that plans to visit. Funny how they don't answer the phone either. Customer is not a priority at this company .

We had a great experience on the BIG Bus. MAURIE is a great tour guide and the yellow route has a prerecorded tour. We did all 4 routes and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my first visit to DC and this was a perfect way to see the sites and learn the history.

Freddie , the bus driver today was very patient and kept his professionalism while we were riding on his bus today on the red line(4/12/18). We were so impressed of his driving skills and people skill. You are a trooper!!! Good luck

On our trip to D.C.We wanted to just rush around and try to see everything since it was our first time and we were only staying for 3 days,so we decided to get big bus tours and regretted it at the end of the trip, first our bus at the marine corps memorial was 45 minutes late, then later we got on a different bus near the Lincoln memorial in the field across the street, there were only 2 seats, there were 4 of us,but one of the seats was under a air conditioner and it was leaking water so we couldn't sit there,so one of the workers told my oldest sister she could just stand, once the bus started moving she fell halfway down the stairs, but luckily landed on her feet then that exact same worker started yelling at my dad and my sister because she wasn't sitting down.We decided to get off the bus, before that there were about 4 more things that happened,we got off the bus and a worker told us she'll get us in the next bus and told us not to worry,my dad said "No we already had a rough experience with this bus company we're not using it for or night tour."This was the most professional worker we've experienced. When we complained on their website they told us we would get a full refund in about a week,we never did
P.S.I wonder how much the people that posted 5 star reviews were paid to because I can’t see anyone liking the fact that your pretty much a can of sardines on those buses
