Love me the sausage platter and pretzel! Hard to find, but worth the time. Offering a good selection of German beers. Liter steins are available. Parking is mostly easy with the hotel as a back up. Great views of Alameda and Coast Guard island. Sunsets are fantastic and a great destination while on a bike.

The sausages are pretty delicious. The schnitzels and pretzels look great. I love the dog-friendly outdoor patio which overlooks the Oakland marina. It looks like they're building some huge project so that area will eventually become very gentrified, touristy, and probably very beautiful (compared to what it is now). I haven't tried any of their beers but they look delightful and complimentary to the sausages.

Great trivia night on Tuesdays. Great pork shank!! Beer selection is limited but very good. Can get beers in all different sizes (including the boot). Great staff!

Very nice food - there really don't seem to be enough German restaurants around here, so I'm glad to have found out about this place. The location on the waterfront with outdoor seating is very pleasant, weather permitting. I particularly recommend the potato pancakes as appetizers.

Nice smaller restaurant south of Jack London Square. They have a nice selection of beer, good service. The food is generally good, but we got the lamb shank and it was served very well done, way too much for us. We've been there a few times my family likes to go there when they're when visiting from out of town. It's one of the few German restaurants in the area. The food was better in the past this time was a little bit up and down. We'll come back and see how it is next time.
