One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood! Delicious eastern European food at reasonable prices. Great beer selection. Excellent ambiance. Owner definitely understands hospitality and strives to make everyone's experience highly pleasurable.

This restaurant seems to have closed. Went by 2 weeks ago on a Saturday evening and it was dark inside, no one there. Called numerous times and no answer. Emailed them and no answer. Too bad - the food was really delicious there and worth 4 stars.

Excellent food. The small plates and desserts our party ordered were just right, and and excellent departure from the usual ethnic flavors.

Taste many of the finest East European foods in a casual yet elegant setting. It's confirmed best schnitzels, cabbage rolls, blintzes in San Francisco. Got to go back to try the Hungarian goulash.

Cafe Europa has become our favorite (non-Italian) restaurant in San Francisco. The Eastern European cuisine is simply outstanding. There is nothing on the menu that is not completely authentic and delicious. The owner, Alex, and the Maitre, Bohdan, are perfect gentlemen and always on hand to accommodate their clientele. I highly recommend Cafe Europa.
