Cable ONE

TRY SOMEONE ELSE BEFORE CABLE ONE! Customer service is atrocious! The package I pay for I am not receiving, the service has been having repairs for over a week, no one bothers to let you know but the bills keep on coming! I called twice to tech support got automated service, found out the router is not even up to spec I'm being charged $10 a month for so was never going to receive what I was paying for. I have been waiting for over a week to be able to call the local office as the automated number just tells you the local office is closed whenever I call and then very very annoyingly just says goodbye and hangs up your call!!!!! So today I finally get a break during the business day to call my local office between 11.30 and 4 which is just plain ridiculous and guess who I get??????????????? someone in Arizona!!!

I love it. Its perfect! The staff is super friendly and helpful. When I call I feel like they actually want to talk to me.

Apart from the internet service, which is decent but has nothing to do with the people, we are very frustrated with company communication and policies. We bought our house last November and have tree vines/dead limbs hanging off of our cable lines out back. Now that it is Spring and we are wanting to bring our yard back to life, we are also planning to clear the line. I contacted them a month ago to ask, they told me to do it and they don't. I wrote something up saying I was not liable since I am untrained to do the work. I went into the office to have them sign it and they guaranteed they would do it. A service tech. came out and basically laughed, saying that wasn't what he does and they have someone else that does that work. This morning, another guy randomly pulled up to do it and after seeing it said the same exact thing. The manager just called and said they will not sign anything letting me do the work, but they also won't send anyone to do the work. So 5 weeks later and I am still where I was. Not happy. Planning to still get the work done, and wishing AT&T had better connection available in our area so I could dump the local provider and pay less to the national company for better service.

The representative I spoke to on the phone kept digging until he got me the best deal on the best plan for me. They arrived promptly when promised and I have had no trouble with my wifi so far!

I was forced to change to more expensive plans twice for exceeding the usage cap. Crappy Service is now well over $100 per month on streamer and gamer plan. I have 200 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload on my plan. Actual speed from cableone speed test is 8.90 upload and 12.79 download. For this type of poor service I pay $100 a month. Slightly faster than dial up but not much. The intermittent service and outages are frustrating as well. But they keep raising my bill. Won't be a customer as soon as I can find an alternative. Rating is 1 because there is no zero.
