Longtime cox cusome here, I've had cox internet at every single address I've had in the last decade. I've promoted their service to friends and family but all that comes to an end now. My Internet bill which originally started at 65$ a month has been steadily rising over the last year. It seemed to level off around 89$ a month with cox explaining that certain promotions given to my account had ended. Now for the last 2 months my Internet bill has been a total of 214 dollars...for INTERNET ONLY. Cox said I went over my "usage limit" which is odd considering usage at my home hasn't changed in the last 2 years. After spending an HOUR on the phone with these people I finally landed in the "Loyalty Dept." Their solution to a customer calling to complain about rising costs...offer them a different internet deal that costs even more. So for the next month I will pay 104$ for so called unlimited service, even though my service has seemed unlimited even when I was paying 65$ a month. I would give them zero stars if I could. They have systematically raised the cost of my bill for over a year. Beware cox customers after the first 2 years of service the price nearly doubles. Get in get the good promotions and then find a better provider for the long term when those promotions end, that's my advice to you.

Went in today, was helped by Keith. He was polite and respectful. I came in for internet only and he got my cable free for a year under a promotion online didnt offer. although i had a unexpected high deposit online didnt give me i left with everything i needed except a splitter lol

Went here to turn in cable box and remote due to not having signal availability in a new apartment. I accidentally turned in our internet router also which my fiance had purchased on her own from Wal-Mart instead of being charge 7.99 every month to use their equipment. So when I realized what I had done I called and they said there was no router here, so I drove up there to retrieve my fiances property they told me that that was their equipment we had been renting every month. I ask to check the serial #s on the (my) router so I could compare to this supposed router we were renting and paying for every month but they wouldn't show it to me. Even though earlier that day when I turned it in the lady was saying she couldn't find it in the system me not knowing at the time that my fiance had purchased that on here own. So Cox just got a 50$ internet router for free. Some shady stuff is going on at that store, highly do not recommend. They wouldn't listen to a word I was saying trying to explain that even on our bill that we received every month we were not being charged for a router because we bought our own. Paid our bill every month and on time. I wish I could select zero stars.
