I Purchased a Z71 Suburban from this lot and its been a great experience! The transaction was smooth and its going on almost a year with no major issues with the Suburban. Central Auto is definitely one of the better dealerships in KC, no doubt!

Always Pleasant nice good friendly service good hometown used car sales. I would recommend them to anyone. As long as you abide by there payments and are honest they always got your back.😎👍

I bought a mazda 5 paid 700 down in July. I first was told not to worry about sales tax until winter. My husband went in to pick up title and sales tax paper so I could plate the vehicle. The other man not DJ told my husband he had to pay close to 300 towards sales tax( this was September). He also said you don't have to worry about the payment right now cause my husband was also making a 340 dollar payment. Anyway because I had my brother pass January in Indiana, my niece killed around Easter, my 59 year old sister died a week before mother's day and then my 33 year old niece on my birthday July 21st, funeral August 4th all these trips to Indiana all flights except my brothers we drove, well I got behind on my bills but I had to help my sister with her daughter Ebonys funeral expense in August. Other places understood but DJ and the other man at central auto didn't. My husband is retired from general motors so has 3000 a month us I work so we were getting back on track, already decided not to do Xmas this year just get these bills paid. JD called my job last week and had me promise to bring 840 to him on the 24th of November, could even come onto lot he said like around garage area and put payment in a bronze colored mail drop slot. I promised.then he said we could sit down when I come back in to discuss getting on track but I had already planned on putting entire 1,040 in box(m.order). Well I trusted him, thought he was a pretty ok guy but I was wrong. My daughter went to Wal-Mart the 21st and called me 30 minutes later saying she couldn't find the car. They had took my car from me after we had a promise to pay 3 days later. My husband called him cause I was crying, I then got on phone and said DJ we talked, you just called my job last Tuesday. You did this to me and devastated my daughter, that was an awful experience for her, us all. I had transmission checked and that had cost me, it's been slipping, I had a tire on, a small oil leak fixed as well which cost. Due to the bucking of the car and it hesitating to go kind of like where id have to pump gas a couple times well i also had that checked out. Nothing repaired but got estimates.Filled tank up yesterday for holiday and they took it same day, 3 days before i was to make payment.Husband went for my things the other man was sorry, said they should of called me, did I want it back etc... but DJ went in another room, no sorry nothing. It hurt so bad. And JD has a daughter I told him on the phone I would of never did your kid like that. He really betrayed me. As far as other man saying they should of called well that would if been nice except there was no need because dj and I had already talked. It's the holidays, I've had so much sadness then this. They have ok cars, prices not extremely out there like some places but honesty and not lying to me, means more to me, your word is bond so I'd rather pay more somewhere if they keep their word about things. And if his boss the owner told him to pick it up that he couldn't wait on a payment until the promised 24th then call and say that so I could get it from someone until then, it was just so dirty how they did me.

I got my 2004 Malibu here, and I love it... easy to make payments, very reasonable down payments, and my favorite part is how friendly and honest they are with you. I recommend this lot any time someone says they need a car. :)
