Central Security Group by Guardian Security Systems

I've been with this company for 5+ years. I switched from ADT hoping to get a better rate with the same superior service that ADT provided. I came home today to find that my home had been broken into. When I opened the door the alarm did not sound. I immediately called the police and waited outside for them to arrive. After filing a police report I called Central Security Group to inform them that I had a break in. They told me that I needed a radio upgrade and that they system hasn't reported to them since the end of 2015! Not once did I receive a call to say that my alarm wasn't working nor that it needed to be upgraded. But they sure continued to auto draft my account for 3 years without monitoring my system. When I demanded to cancel they gave me an email address that didn't work and said that they would charge me for an additional month. I'll be cancelling my other accounts once the agreements end and going back to ADT.

I requested that my service be terminated June 2016 (we had filled our contract obligation) due to the sale of our house. I was not told to submit a letter so I thought that the call was sufficient. I have proof of the sale of my old home and purchase of new as of June 2016. Fast forward to September 2017 - I noticed an ACH debit from Central Security Group and upon research, find that they have been debiting my bank account every month. Yes, my accounting skills are severely lacking. I called and again requested cancellation. I was told that it needed to be in writing. I sent an email and received a confirmation of receipt. I am now getting a paper bill for October 2017 plus late fees because I changed banks. I was just told that they will bill one more month after cancellation letter is received. It is UNBELIEVABLE!

Alert 360 is such a wonderful company, they have been monitoring my home for 2 years and I always feel secure. Thank you for keeping me and my roommates safe!

My initial review was less than favorable due to what i considered very poor, almost predatory service. However, after a concerted effort by their rep Jimmy A, the service and attitude from this company does appear to have improved in the past year. They did work at changing my opinion of their company and rectifying some billing and other issues. I have finally managed to cancel my service, but want to leave a more favorable review as I had offered. Give credit where due. Thank you Jimmy A.

After losing my home, car and belongings in Hurricane Harvey, I requested that my service be cancelled because there was nothing to guard, (my home was destroyed), and nothing to monitor. Simply put: They refused. Ok, the company has adequately solved my issues. I hope that they will work with other clients, in the future, if they have problems such as mine.
