A strong smell of oil invaded my car, so I drove about a half-mile, before I realized that it would be best to pull into a parking lot. It seems that my car had suddenly developed a catastrophic oil leak. Not only was all the oil on the ground under the car, but it was all over the engine and the dipstick was dry! This was not the best way to begin my birthday. Luckily, I had my smart phone, so I was able to search for tow trucks. I chose Chambers because the company had 4.8 stars and positive reviews, when all the others I saw had just one star and negative reviews. Well, as far as I am concerned, this is a FIVE STAR company. The owner was the man who answered the phone and came to my rescue. ON THE WEEKEND! He was so nice and helpful. He even looked at the car to see if he could spot the trouble. In everything he did, he provided great customer service. I hope I don't need to get towed again any time soon, but if I do, this is the man I plan to call. He was my hero, tonight. Mike, you have my sincere thanks. I'll be sure to recommend your company to others.

On time and fair pricing. You can't ask for anything better than that. I highly recommend this company that we have used 2-3 times over that last several years. Thanks Mike for your Great Service.

Chambers Wrecker Service has been in service for over 50 years, and will remain in service for many years to come. Reading a previous review about the company has shut down is far from the truth. The company is now run under new management, that has several employees with many years of professional experience to keep the tradition of Chambers Wrecker Service a success as it has been. There is only one Chambers Wrecker Service company in Wilmington, NC and it is running strong as ever

I was on the other side of town from my house when my car wouldn't start. We had a friend jump in, but no luck. I did a quick Google search and called Chambers because they had such good Google reviews. I am SO glad I called them! Mike showed up fairly quickly and decided to try to jump my car again. This time it worked and he only charged me for a service call. He was fair and honest and didn't try to cheat me by towing my car anyway.
