Chesapeake Bay KOA Resort & Beach Club (Cape Charles, VA.)

This was our first trip to the area and fell in love with the campground. We throughly enjoyed the band Sat. Night and boy was it busy. They do need more tables and servers on the weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, especially helping to park the camper. Having the little hut with hammocks was really neat. What in the world are those tiny biting bugs, didn’t notice them the first couple of days, what a nuisance. Are they there all summer?

Restaurant had great food and drinks and finally great service. Have been coming since the day they opened back up. Live bands on Saturday nights usually pretty good. Campsites big and roomy and good people! Prettiest sunsets on the East coast!

Had a great time this weekend. Sites were decent size, grounds and bathrooms were kept clean. Beach area was nice. Will come back.

Absolutely beautiful place to camp and great facilities only negative is the bugs towards the end of season. We loved it here we came in on Monday night and stayed the entire week. We had the facility basically to ourselves till Thursday night, we were one of 6 campers. It filled up on the weekends but still was very comfortable and the site sizes were great. The entire facility is pet friendly including the campground store not sure about motel and cabins.

Absolutely loved this campground! I thought it would be loud since it was right next to the tolls, but it was opposite. We have such a great time relaxing on the beach, kayaking and participating in all the fun activities they planned during Labor Day weekend. My kids loved biking up and down the roads - hardly any traffic (car and golf carts) so they could bike freely. We took our dogs to the dog beach a few times during our stay and they loved it. Live music was awesome too. Can't say enough good things. Looking forward to our next visit.
