Stayed for two nights on a visit to Norfolk and the surrounding area. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Was not aware breakfast was not included, and there was no microwave or freezer in our room (but there was a “cold box” and a lobby microwave). The bed was not very comfortable and I couldn’t sleep at all the first night I was there. The toilet wouldn’t flush, even after maintenance worked on it, it would barely work. The shower was good and refreshing.

The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. You can tell this is an older hotel, but the crew have done a great job keeping it in order. No musty smell or aged styling. Visit the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

I stay here ~4 times a year due to a recurring conference, as do many of my coworkers. It’s not the newest building, but the hotel is clean, has all the modern stuff you would expect, and the employees are genuinely friendly. The restaurant is also good and they have a GREAT breakfast. Easy parking, easy check in, quick jump on the highway, and it’s quiet. It’s also right next to the airport and they have a shuttle. No complaints, never had an issue.

Staff was helpful. Room was completely standard. Bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were petty weak. My room was missing the little bottle of shampoo. A walk to the front desk took care of that. The bathroom was fine. Clean. The ceiling had obvious repair work. Water pressure was slightly below average. Water temperature was very consistent. Overall a fine stay.

Bed was soft best sleep ever. Concierge friendly. Restaurant Max & Erma's good breakfast with great prices. Room was clean& comfortable comparable to the Renaissance in downtown. This is my forever place to stay upon my arrival to this area in the near future.
Can't forget about the warm cookies they give upon arrival. Just put the icing on the cake. I loved and enjoyed my 3 night stay🎆
