Cold Front

Such a cool experience! Their homemade sodas were unusual but very tasty, and the soda shop design was a lot of fun. It was pretty busy while we were there; a lot of people came in for ice cream. Their ice cream sampler is a great idea if you can't make up your mind about flavors.

Good coffee, good ice cream! Love getting the ice cream flight. I really appreciate that this place has reasonably-sized scoops of ice cream. Yes, you can get a giant amount, but if you're a regular person and just want a scoop of ice cream - they have that here!!! I also appreciate the kid size ice cream.

Best ice cream in the twin cities in my opinion! Plus shakes, malts, floats, handmade sodas and a full coffee bar serving bootsrap coffee ! I love this place!

Cold Front is a hidden gem among the Izzys and big-scoop creameries in the area. Offering normal proportions of delicious ice cream at reasonable prices, Cold Front fills a niche for a classic ice cream parlour with everything you'd expect and more. On the more side, their affogatos are to die for, and they run a full espresso bar with drinks far better than Dunn Bros. So there's that. Good ice cream + normal proportions + great coffee = a fantastic time. Ice cream doesn't quite stand up to Milkjam, but coffee sweetens the deal.
