Nelson's Ice Cream

Classic ice cream shop with a large variety of flavors! They serve quality ice cream and they are very generous with their portions. Their "child" size cup of ice cream could easily feed two to three hungry adults! There is space to sit inside or outside. They have a small parking lot available or you can choose to park on the street. This location does face Snelling, which is a heavily transited road, so I would keep that in mind when planning a visit. The staff was courteous. The ice cream was VERY tasty! Bring on summer!

Always great ice cream. Always inexpensive. Always kids working there so that can make it a bit slow at times. They do their best in an extremely fast paced location. Handling money followed by scooping ice cream must be interrupted by a hand wash.

Great flavors and crazy portion sizes! I honestly don't know how this place makes money, but it is amazing. Honestly two adults could split the child size and be fine! Try the Rich and Famous flavor!

Great size to price amount of ice-cream. Love all the flavors. My favorite is the pirates booty. They are better ice-cream places in the twin cities but you can't say the experience with kids getting a huge cup of ice-cream for 2.50 is not worth it in itself. Don't forget to bring cash.

These people serve some of the best ice creams! I really liked it. The size is very huge though, a kid size was enough for 2 of us.
