Grand Ole Creamery

Wonderful ice cream! For whatever reason, I prefer the Grand Ave location better, probably nostalgia. Either way, this has fantastic ice cream that rotates. It's been a couple years since I've been here, but they used to put malted milk balls at the bottom of the waffle cones to help stop the melted ice cream from running into your hands. It was a special treat!

I think they need to train their employees better espically on portion sizes. Went in on a busy evening and ordered a single & it was about this size of two of my fists. Went in during the day when it wasn’t busy and ordered the same thing and it was about half the size of my fist. Ordered it for my two year old and I to share and there wasn’t even enough ice cream for me to eat any...delicious ice cream though.

Ice cream was very good. However we had a unique experience. Hey young girl came in to the location to begin her training for a new job, when the girls were working told her she no longer had a job if there were no hours available. Was very unprofessional to have this conversation in front of customers, not to mention the girls working there were laughing after the young girl left. I was not impressed with how this was handled. Poor girl !

Delicious local ice cream and sorbet. Great bicycling destination along the creek trails. Cute little patio outside. Parking is limited so grab a spot on the surrounding streets if you see one.

So many delicious and original flavors and they really pile on the ice cream so it's worth the money. :)
