This is an amazing ice cream shop! However if you thought it was expensive before.. prices we recently raised. $4 for a single scoop. Almost 7$ for a double. Ice cream sandwich $5.25.
Unaffordable for middle class families unless its a once a year treat. You're looking at $30 for a family of 5 to get ice cream after dinner.
Also the waffle cones have changed to the conventional flavor.

Pretty good! Reasonable prices and fun flavors (I prefer the fruit-based flavors). Ice cream seems strangely crystalline, but I’m not sure to what extent that is deliberate.

Purchased ice cream from Pumphouse creamery twice from local coop grocery stores. I have been disappointed both times. The ice cream was very crystalline in texture. It did not appear to be freezer burned, and I have not had the same problem from other local brands in the same freezer case. When you pay $10 for a quart of ice cream you expect it to be outstanding. Possibly it is better right from the source, I don't know. My experience has been tarnished.

This was my first and last visit to Pumphouse. Not only was the ice cream TERRIBLE, we showed up 20 minutes before they were suppose to close and the guy working refused to serve us because he wanted to close early. This obviously made me upset since I had driven 20 minutes with excited kids for ice cream. He still refused and tried to get us to leave. Finally after a couple minutes he begrudgingly gave in and scooped myself and 2 kids some ice cream. It took 90 seconds to serve us and we were out the door. Why he couldn't do that in the first place I have no idea.
If you advertise you are open til 8pm, then you need to be open til 8pm. This is about as basic as it gets in customer service.

Ice cream here is cheap and refreshing. It is high quality in my opinion.
