I have called time again and again, but it seems that nobody is manning the phone.  Also, phone numbers that I have of previous consulate or embassy officers I spoke to are completely dead now.  It's the same kind of horrid Malaysian couldn't care less attitude they brought from Malaysia.  Take a look at what the US and Malaysia's neighbor to our south, Singapore, are doing, and you will know what good customer service is like.  It is always a pain dealing with Malaysian civil servants no matter where they are.

I came to renew my passport. I downloaded all the necessary forms and completed them before I came. 

a) The whole process took less than an hour. 
b) Staff was friendly and courteous.
c) The consulate itself is near many restaurants. You don't have to worry about what to do while your passport is being processed.

great customer service , amazingly quick turnaround ( got my new passport in about 20 minutes ) , the people working there are wonderful!

Could've gave them 0 stars if i could. I called them at 10 am and nobody is answering the phone. So much for having a "hotline" for inquiry. idiots.
