Their phone system is a sub standard. can not talk to anyone and so much time spent on the phone listening to so much information that google already provided... ,did I mentioned ... so typical.

I had the worse and most absurd experience of my life. I came to register as an israeli citizen together with my daugthers. I went there twice, spent 4 hours yesterday and they keep asking me for new documents, some of them don't even exist. Also had to face the most obnoxious and inefficient workers , I even met the Consul (was he really?) who threatened me to take away the passport of my son! because isaid that we registered him few years ago with no problem!! Israeli bureaucracy is legendary but here it's beyond words. it really felt like in a bad joke . If you can, avoid this place!!

While Israeli bureaucracy is legendary at being a pain, my experience with them has been positive. The consular department has very friendly and efficient staff. Waiting for my Passport to arrive still. Can't wait to move back to Israel this October! - Galen

Have been trying to reach them for two weeks, no one answers phones or emails. I once was able to reach a person on the phone, but he was extremely rude and simply hung up on me after I explained my issue. I live far in CT and can't just come every week... This service is such a shame.

I always got a rapid express service. The renovated rooms and the system was working for me. Once I went only to prolong my passport and in no time I was out. The security check was longer than the service inside. Security measures are excellent! Once once while they check my passport they looked outside to monitor a suspicious van parked outside.
