I ordered the Capitol's Special, a turkey sandwich with tomatoes and avocado. It was generally satisfactory, if you can tolerate crunchy tomatoes and thick piles of turkey! The price was the selling point of this place - sandwiches are only $6.

This place is really only good for when you have those moods where you don't care about the quality of the food you get. It's like ordering fast food or takeout; you know you're not getting quality and you generally feel worse once you're done eating but you eat it because eh... it's there. The food is served buffet-style and they've got decent variety of generic foods that range from salad to sushi to Chinese to chicken tenders. Their hours cater to the D.C. commuter and speaking as one, the only reason to come here is to break up the monotony of the day and maybe to leave your windowless cube and get some sunlight.
