Delton Oaks Resort

BUYER BEWARE: THIS PLACE IS SUPER SKETCHY!!! After hours of looking into cabin-type resorts, I thought I had finally found a great place for my group to stay for one night. I triple checked to make sure there wasn't a two-night minimum stay for a weekend night and nowhere under their "Policies" tab is this restriction stated. I even called them three times throughout the day and left a voicemail with no response AND emailed them with my inquiry with no response. Instead of waiting for them to respond, I was able to reserve my three rooms online, no problem. Then, a half hour later I get a call from them saying "I'm not sure why you were able to book for one night online because we have a two-night minimum stay for the weekends. So we will have to cancel your reservation." I am incredibly upset by their lack of communication and definitely will never consider them again. Update: A month later, I checked my credit card statement AND THEY NEVER REFUNDED MY CREDIT CARD!!! IT WAS AN ALMOST $800 CHARGE!!! THEY are the ones who canceled my reservation and I got emails stating the reservations were canceled but THEY DID NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!! I called and left a voicemail about it but have not heard back from them yet. I am letting my credit card company deal with them as they have caused me enough stress already. I also see that their Policies tab still does not reflect their two-night minimum stay. Update: The next business day all I got from them were three one-sentenced cancellation emails. No apology whatsoever. This place is horrible.

Comfy bed, location perfect just off the main strip and had lake view balcony. Service was good. Building itself not a looker, needs updating but was fine.

Owners are great. Awesome lake view room, and with a full kitchen and grill I could stay here all season.

It was nice, but the rooms kinda smelled weird and were hot too.

I love staying on the lake and since our favorite place closed a couple years ago this one offered a great alternative. A lot of activities like swimming in the heated pool or lake, campfire, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and of course relaxing. The rooms are clean and well decorated. It was a little pricey but well worth it with the free Noah's Arc passes!
