Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs

I have been taking my lower end watches to the store for years because it is near my house. They usually perform a decent job although the prices are high. Recently I asked to have a battery replaced on my watch . 10 minutes after leaving the store I noticed the watch was not working. I returned to the store and they would not refund the cost of the battery. $32. My experience with jewelers is that they will test the movement before replacing the watch and ensure the watch is working before returning to the customer. I cannot recommend this store because I feel this is very poor customer service. However, I should have confirmed the watch was working before I left the store. Thanks for the offer, but I found another watch repair service that I prefer. Bowers watch and clock repair on Cheshire Bridge.

Jacob did a phenomenal job with a watch I brought in. It needed the battery replaced, but also had to have the crystal face replaced due to extensive scratching. He is clearly very knowledgeable and great with what he does! The watch looks perfect now. Everyone else I interacted with was also professional and helpful.

Hat’s off to Jacob! He took an old Citizen’s Diver’s watch I had put away for years. I figured it just needed a new battery, but there were some repairs and adjustments that were needed, and he done an excellent job with the repairs. The man knows what he’s doing! The watch ran like it was brand new, and hasn’t skipped a beat yet! And the pricing for the repairs were very affordable. I’d highly recommend Fast-Fix Perimeter Mall.

I stopped in to obtain quote on replacing a 0.05 CT diamond and to tighten the prongs in my anniversary band (after they refused to indicate pricing over the phone). They looked at it and said it would be $180 to replace the stone and $380 to tighten the prongs and replace the stone. I said no way, that's too high. Other quotes were much cheaper. The lady then said they had the exact same stone in stock (how convenient) and it could be done in an hour. Nope. First, I paid $80 for my anniversary band and it's brand new... and one stone is worth more than a 3/4 CT ring? I don't think so. I called Shane company who stated over the phone the prong tightening is free and a small stone shouldn't cost more than $150 with labor. Fast Fix is a rip iff. I'll be going to a real jewerly repair store.

Jacob was amazing! I went downstairs to another jewelry store to see how much it would be to reset my loose stone in a ring and they quoted me $50, that was if I wanted to wait 7-10 days to get it back....with priority to get it back within an hour it was going to be $50 on top of the $50 to fix it. Jacob at fast fix jewelers charged me right under $14 and had it done within 15 min. AMAZING!!! I will definitely be back for any other jewelry needs...thanks again!!
