The tonkatsu ramen was AMAZING! There was a different flavor to every bite. The prices for the food proportions are cheap/decent (main dishes). Ramune is also served here for $3! Certainly a place I'd visit again.

One of the best noodle bars in town! It's a small cozy place, not great for large groups. The staff and chefs are very helpful if you're looking to expand your pallet. There is always a special or new items on the blackboard wall as you walk in. Chef specials haven't disappointed if your a refined noodle bar connoisseur. There are a number of great items on the menu for both first timers and seasoned veterans. From Curry to Phó and egg rolls to tempura. There are simple items for the weak of heart or stomach. The only thing I dislike the most is the hours are short and sweet. Best to go at lunch or early dinner.

Sushi bars appeared on the restaurant scene in the mid-90s around here. Now a different sort of Japanese restaurant has appeared in the form of noodle bars. I think this is some seriously nice cuisine and Fat Noodle is really a good example of this type of food. Be prepared to consume a large bowl of soup. There are a few solid food items on the menu but mostly noodle soups are the thing here. The atmosphere is nice but fairly small. Be prepared for larger crowds during the work week. It is heavily frequented by downtown workers and not a good place for larger parties to find seating together. There is no dedicated parking lot so plan to find street parking opportunities. My personal favorite soup is the pork tonkatsu. It has a rich pork broth and contains a variety of different cuts of pork. It is delicious.

It was alright. The soup options were pretty good. I thought it was more Raman focused and ended up having more pho choices.

Menu has shrunk. I had pork and beef phõ. It was only ok. Not up to their usual standard. They were understaffed...maybe that had something to do with it.
