Fry's Electronics

Not what it once was. But still has some great deals. Especially if you sign up for their daily email codes.. The selection can be a bit hit or miss. But there is always something great about going into a brick and mortar store, seeing and trying out the product and then immediately taking it home. Especially when they will price match online prices. Not to mention things are much easier to return.

I absolutely love this store! Being in IT - this is my "go to" spot whenever I'm working in Portland / Salem area. They carry a very large amount of inventory. The employees are helpful and polite. My biggest issue is the few locations available. More locations and locations! Boise, ID would be a great place for one :-) They price match - which is great, however doing this has caused problems in the past. If you need selection and instant gratification this is the place to go for All Electronics! 9/10

Lots of great stuff. Lots of great prices. My cashier however had to check the 20 dollar bill I was using to pay for my stuff to make sure it wasn't counterfeit. By walking off somewhere for 3 minutes and then returning to confirm that, yes, it indeed was real. Seriously? A 100 dollar bill I could understand. Weird. Then they rifle through all your stuff at the exit. Do you people really get off on treating your customers like common criminals?

Diesel prices at Fry's are very good. They have a very good selection of both good and completely useless items from China that cost about $2. It's definitely the go-to place if you're going to build your own computer system. Their components are fairly thorough and their sale prices on the components are good as well. Probably a little bit better than Newegg on the sale prices. Them an excellent selection of drones and video games. Unfortunately there's likely High turnover because sometimes this stuff isn't that knowledgeable.

Today was the best experience shopping there ever. The staff was easily available and got another knowledgeable staff, when they couldn't answer my technical questions. The staff person who was called, was so helpful and knowledgeable. They saved me money and time to help upgrade my 97 year old mother in laws machine as she is almost blind and will need assessbility features enabled and told where to go for more help. On top that I picked up some cheap ice-tea.
