If you're an amateur radio enthusiast you already know about the Ham Radio Outlet. If you're unfamiliar with HRO then a visit to the store will inspire you to buy all sorts of cool and fun stuff and you will spend lots of money real quick. Of course they have a web presence and they maintain a very nice printed catalog.

What’s not to like about this shop. I made a special trip down from Seattle to get some hands-on time with various pieces of equipment and was not disappointed. The very helpful staff walked me through a few radios, multiple mounting solutions and many antennas. I got all of my questions answered and left with many things to research (which is good). My wish list on their website just got significantly larger...

This store took me down memory lane reminding me if those years when becoming a ham operator was a major passion. The staff is knowledgeable about current equipment and how things once were built. Nice shop. A real find for serious ham operators.

I like this new location, I used to go to their old location through the years. This one has a lot more room inside, and as far as price goes the sky is the limit! Or in most of our cases are pocketbook determines that! I've heard people complain about the way they have been treated, but it makes me question them. Every time I have walked in there it's always been an awesome experience, the guys have always been very nice to me, rather I'm buying a $1 antenna insulator, or dropping hundreds of dollars.
