Greyhound

So, pros and cons. The station itself is horrible and small. Pack snacks and use a bathroom before u get there. The agents scanned my ticket in Des Moines but manually collected it in Chicago. Be sure to print out tickets in advance! DSM to Chicago is about six and a half hours. Going there the Davenport pit stop was amazing. Get off the bus!! There was a Caribou coffee, restaurants, shops, bathrooms and even gluten free-organic-kosher-vegan snacks. Coming back there were no good pit stops so trip felt longer. Bring earbuds and a cell phone. People talk on their phones and some were coughing up a lung...u get the idea. Thanks to Shay, who drove us to Chicago, for a fun trip! All in all a bargain at less than $90 round trip. Best way to get to Chicago. I used uber to and from station.

Horrible experience with timing and customer service!!! Will never use them again. I do not recommend this bus service at all.

I almost got ripped off by Greyhound. Tried to buy a ticket for my daughter. Greyhound tried to charge me a service charge of $18, yes $18 for buying a ticket for someone else. I said no way. Called Burlington Bus Lines. Bought the same ticket BUT no $18 service charge. Screw Greyhound.

This place and parking is very small for a bus station, the food and drink options were minimal, the seating is uncomfortable and small, the staff seems to hate their jobs, but the bus' faired better. The Jefferson lines bus I took to Kansas City was pretty quick and comfortable. But I do definitely think that Jefferson could do better with their bus station.

There's a guy that works there at night called Antonio. He's very rude. He likes to scream and curse at all of the customers. Horrible experience to have to set there and deal with him. Most horrible thing ever. They need new employees.
