Helping Paws Animal Shelter

Be prepared ahead of time if you go here. They go back 10 years on past pets and there cannot be ANY lapse in vaccines. If I had known that before I applied a lot of heartache would of been saved. Other than that they love their animals very clean place and really nice people. ( I have found a rescue pet elsewhere)

Staff was helpful. Cats clean and well cared for. Lovely animals. Staff reminded people to wash their hands before and after enterin enclosures. Very positive experience. I was there to drop off a painting for the auction. . .but was very tempted to adopt the beast named "Paulie-Bear"... they all deserve a forever home. I already have 2 rescues, tried 3 once but, they started marking territory by peeing on my couches...so i am reluctant to add a third again.

Amazing place. They truly care for all their animals. Knowledgeable, friendly, and very interactive with informational and fun events. Simply the best!

This nightmare of a fucking shelter shouldn’t even have one fucking star. Every single person I’ve ever known to go there, gets rejected for some bullshit reason. Its important to make sure pets are going to good homes, but making good people jump through hoops is not the way to do it. Theres animals over flowing in kill shelters for gods sakes! STOP REFUSING PETS TO GOOD LOVING HOMES. And before anyone accuses me of being angry for being rejected, nope. Ive never even TRIED to adopt from them, because i knew it would be a nightmare. I bet most of the pets i saw last YEAR are still there. Please, ease your policies, for the sake of the animals!!!!

Got my little puppy here. Great shelter they take amazing care of animals and are efficient with you and let you spend a good amount of time with the puppies and kittens
