Adopted our 4 month old puppy from Wagging Hearts in April 2017. He is our 6th rescue dog over the last 19 years. Wagging Hearts was an experience I have not had before. They were so personable. Then I was introduced to the foster family and to this day, I still keep in touch. The way they treat their fosters is like no other. It was like they were their own. I will rescue with Wagging Hearts for sure in the future. Great group!

If I could put zero stars I would. Went to a dog fair at the dog park fell completely in love with a puppy they had. I have never adopted a dog so I was completely uneducated to the process. We had a house visit the same day and everything went fine. We couldn't keep the puppy right away since she needed to be spayed. I was supposed to receive a call on the way home from the vet to see if she was able to be picked up that day - I left a message and didn't hear back until almost 7pm... two days later we noticed the puppy has fleas. Today is our third day with her and had to get a wellness check at their vet, the doctor confirmed she has fleas and she had fleas when she was being spayed! We were never told by Wagging Hearts that there was even a possibility she had fleas. I called Wagging Hearts to ask why they didn't inform us first - since now we have to sterilize our entire house to make sure the fleas are gone. And all they could say is it is in the disclosure. Also on the phone she was extremely rude and didn't seem like she even cared about the problem at hand. When they went over disclosure they didn't explain what any of the treatments are or why they were given. And as i said before this was my first time adopting. I strongly believe they are only in it for the money. I would never adopt from them again. I would have high caution if you do decide to adopt with Wagging Hearts

We adopted Mr. Blue Oct. 4th 2013 and have loved every moment with him. Wagging Hearts was very helpful and let us know what to expect. Blue was at a high kill shelter and was returned once already in his life. This boy needed someone who could spend time with him and show him some love. Although a challenge at first, he has turned out to be quite the character. We raised Blue on 1/2 acre in Wisconsin and recently retired and moved to N.C. Blue now has over 3.2 acres to guard and he loves to be outside. We made Nov. 1st , Blue's B-day as no one really knew it. The picture is of Blue on our sleep number bed. He had a full day of running, playing and chasing squirrels. Wagging Hearts works with what they have. They expend every ounce of energy saving these creatures from hell. Give them a chance and you will find a buddy for life. Remember Dog spelled backwards = GOD. God Bless the workers at Wagging Hearts and their tireless efforts. Paul & Anne Maliborski
