Heritage Humane Society

Heritage Human Society is amazing. It’s a great place. They take really good care of there animals. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an animal. My family has adopted many animals from here and we have found a lot of kittens and brought them in. They do a great just of cleaning, taking care of the animals, and good to there customers. Let’s are also extremely cheap there! If you are looking for a dog there are a lot of pit bulls there. Pit bulls are not ferocious animals. It’s the way they are raised. So all of the pit bulls there are friendly.

The staff is extremely helpful and quite knowledgeable. They very patiently answered all the questions we had and helped introduce the all the pets we were interested in

Our family was rescued by five cats over the years. Williamsburg is blessed to have the Heritage Humane Society. It is unlike other shelters. You have to visit to see the facility. The volunteers and staff are wonderful. The community cat room is fun and inviting. I have to refrain from too many visits because our home would explode with more furkids.

Animal shelters will always get high ratings from me. I'm so thankful and blessed to have met all the beautiful animals here. I'm not a local, so I can't adopt any of these angels, but I do hope kind souls can give them a loving home. Anyway, this shelter has ample parking space and is clearly visible from the road. Animals (feral cats especially) are allowed to wander around the parking lot , which seems unsafe, but hey, they're the experts. The facility itself seems hygienic. The animals look well-fed and well-groomed.
