Fast friendly service every time I've rented from here. Car lot is short walk from luggage claim.

Do NOT rent from this Hertz. Like others here, my husband and I reserved a car for last night at around 10:30pm. We had an appointment in Denver, CO the next afternoon and it was not possible to take my car. We decided to reserve a car that would be about half the cost to drive the 18 hours round trip. When we arrived to the counter NO ONE was there. In fact none of the rental company counters were open besides Enterprise. We tried calling the number (which, of course was the number for the counter) to no avail. After returning to our car and waiting for several minutes to see if someone would come out of the woodwork to help us with our RESERVATION, we approached the man from Enterprise who was just leaving for the night (at 11:00pm, mind you when the hours say 11:30). He said they only had an SUV and a pickup on the lot, neither of which had better gas mileage than my own vehicle. The next morning we call the Hertz counter and although the weekend manager gave us an apology, he also told us that their policy is that they close the counter after the last flight arrived. He then said that they didn't have any contact information for us in their system yet we received a confirmation EMAIL from Hertz with all of our personal information that would have been sent to the Hertz representative. If you have an opportunity, read all of the reviews before you rent. We are not the only ones that have experienced this same issue. We were forced to return home and missed our appointment in Colorado this afternoon. VERY disappointed. If negative stars were possible, I would use several of them. If you look at the picture (which is a screenshot of their website), the hours extend until 11:30pm. We were there well before then. According to the representative, they close whenever they want after the last flight arrives. However it also states that they have after hours pickup and drop off as well. You may be able to drop it off through a drop slot??? but you will NOT be able to pick up.

I feel bad for losing my patience but Google has hours posted 630 am - 1130 pm, that's obviously not the case, 645 am you show up which is great but dude said 730 am is opening.....so post that visibly somewhere and don't throw it back on me like I'm the problem and then proceed to tell me to check the night before to make sure you have the class I reserved, then say I need to bump up $15/day because I didn't ensure you had what I reserved...I understand you probably get chewed on daily which I have empathy for you-if your hours are 730 am daily...post that. Rep made it right at return thank you.

I was trying to get a rental car for my daughter that was in a very serious car accident that totaled her car. The man that I spoke with at the Idaho Falls location contradicted everything I said, he was rude and very condisending. When I called him out he said he was not rude and didn't even try to change his attitude, let alone be helpful.

Wanted to return vehicle to different location, got two different responses. First time, associate Yes it's possible with transfer fee with a compact car. Second time a different associate said $1000 fee for the same vehicle - no option of compact or other vehicle. Booked one way from National. After completing the docs as I walk past National counter, the associate from Hertz chats with National associate and starts talking "he called yesterday and..." just cribing. Unwanted and rude behavior, looks like she wanted to show off.
