I ride several 2 wheel racing recumbents, nationally and internationally.  I've brought my bikes to High Gear Bike Shop for complex and detailed work on my custom made bikes since 2003.  I would bring my bikes to no other shop.  The work is exceptional.  They have striven to accommodate me in numerous ways.  They have assisted me in packing and shipping my bikes domestically and overseas.  What more can one ask for?!

Friendly employees, and the bike mechanics are awesome.  They've always treated me well and do a good job keeping my bike in excellent condition.

Steve and Cindy are always willing to help me with repairs, even if I just need a bolt for loose SPD cleat or major overhaul. Prices are very reasonable and they have more parts in stock than any other shop in the area.

I arrived in Prescott to MTB only to realize my day would be paused until my back brakes would release. The staff at High Gear were great. The took me right in, tweaked the calibers, made sure I was able to ride and sent me on my way in under 10 minutes. I don't write reviews but take exception when I receive such wonderful customer service.  Thanks HG. You made my day even better !

I've brought in three of my bikes for service.  The shop did a great job either with adjustments or addition of new gearing.  Would recommend High Gear to locals or visitors.
