I bought a new F250 last year. My selling dealer spends a lot of time on the radio telling people how differently they do things. It had always been a frustrating experience there to get a service appointment. Go online, choose your service, then make an appointment. Unfortunately the online system always scheduled me days or a week away- for an oil change! Yesterday I called them and asked if they could fit me in for an oil change as I was way overdue. "No, we can't do an oil change today, it would have to be next week". So I am done with my "different" selling dealer. I went to Hillsboro Ford's website, sent a service email around 10 AM asking for an appointment that afternoon at 1:30. I received a call less than 45 minutes later telling me to come in at that time. I arrived on time, my truck was taken in almost immediately. I had my oil changed, tires rotated, they offered to do my state inspection, and I needed an air filter. At 2:48 I was driving home. That's great service!
