Neat Auto Sales inc

Neat Auto was a really unexpected experience. Frank and Al stand behind a sale in a manner I did not expect from a dealer. There warranty is not like others, it is not a 3rd party worthless piece of paper with 1800 to a call center of denial. They have their own shop and mechanic. They fixed a major problem with my car that came up after purchase. It took 1 phone call, Frank said bring it in, gave me loaner and 4 days later got my car back fully repaired. Even repaired an additional issue (cv shaft) that was not a problem yet but would have been 6 months form now.

Product is great and delivered promptly, however, my grandmother accidentally placed an order for two and we arranged for a pick up for return. They quoted £25 for pick up which was fine and told us it would be picked up on Wednesday. It is now Monday and I have waited in all day after calling on Wednesday to be told it would be tomorrow. Thursday I called, it would be tomorrow, I couldn't stay in all day so it was moved to Monday, no pick up and now the team are not in so I can't check the status. I'm going to call tomorrow morning again, to probably be told it would be today or tomorrow. Now I definitely resent having to pay the £25 pick up fee when I've had to stay in all day for almost a week for no reason.

I have to say the customer service was good and they did work on the price of the car. Bought a 2010 Forester with 89,000 miles advertised that the timing belt and water pump were replaced. After purchasing the car we found out the front right door did not lock or unlock. Needed to bring it back for repair, they fixed the door for free but forgot to put parts back on the door. Drove an hour back to Merrimack (because we weren't allowed to go to the Manchester dealership that was closer) to have them take parts off another Forester. Car needed new tires after the dealer had said they were "pretty new" before our test drive. Fast forward 6 months find out the car needed new head gaskets. The garage even thought it was weird this wasn't discovered when the dealership supposedly replaced the timing belt and water pump. During head gasket replacement it was found out that the radiator had been compromised due to someone using a leak preventive, transmission fluid was black and had debris needed to be flushed out, and front left wheel bearing was bad. Obviously I can't know for sure if these were known problems to them but after them selling the car for almost 3 grand less than what it was worth and when they fixed the door asked if there was anything else found, it kinda makes you think other wise. After $2,500 in repairs it's now a great car. Seems like this dealership doesn't put much work into their cars before selling them.
