Idaho iRepair - Boise

Wow. I can’t say anything positive. Customer service stinks. Communication stinks. They supposedly fixed the screen and then put the fan together wrong. So went back and they were very rude. THEN 2 months later the screen falls off and breaks something. They never told me what. I had to call 5 times to check on the status. Come to find out they took the computer to another store and never bothered to let me know. After 3 weeks my friend finally got the call to pick it up. She told them to leave it at the Village store. Of course they didn’t listen and shipped it back to the Broad Street Store. And Guess what?! My computer now blinks every 15 seconds and is still broken. All because I needed a cracked screen fixed. Horrible, absolutely horrible.

I bought a used phone from them, they were honest in directing me to which one would make the most sense for what I needed, vs selling me the more expensive one that I didn't need. The phone was also a much better value than the ones I saw at a competing store. The guy who helped me was super efficient in setting up the phone and beyond polite. I was very impressed.

I made the mistake of blowing out my microphone on my Iphone and so I thought I would try this shop out to repair it. The first repair wasn't just right, but their website states they offer a 100% guarrentee, so I contacted them via email and confirmed. After the next trip, my phone was completely repaired and working perfectly. I appreciate the warrenty and really love being to able to repair a phone instead of just having to replace it. Thank you for your hard work.

Edit: The lady at the front desk was professional. I did appreciate her customer service-- I don't want to be too negative. Changed from 1 star to 2 because of her. I ordered a new screen. They said they would call me I'm a few days. Two and a half weeks later I called them, they had had the screen for a while. They said it would take an hour. I showed up and they said an hour and a half instead. I came back 2 hours and 15 minutes later. They hadn't started it. They said another 25 minutes. I came back an hour later. They had my phone taken apart on the front counter of the store. They said a few more minutes. I waited for 30 minutes and left because at this point my wife was becoming late for work while waiting in the car. Came back an hour later and it was finally done. SIX HOURS OF WAITING!!! they quoted me ONE originally! The kid at the front desk just turned around and walked in the back room after I paid without saying anything or handing me a receipt or warranty or anything. Maybe he was printing something off, but he didn't say ANYTHING. I waited a few moments and just left. 6 and a half hours later. They wasted my entire day. When I asked the reason for the delay (before paying) their response was, "Yeah, we just didn't expect your phone to be so hard to work on." But they extended the quoted time for just that reason. I asked for a discount a after calmly explaining that I had waited for six hours (and to weeks) and the kid gave me five bucks off. It May just be first world problems, but I would recommend going somewhere else. Poor business practices. Unreliable. Expensive.

I went to the Boise location for a broken screen on an iPhone 7. The screen was never properly repaired. I have been back and forth between the shop 7 times trying to resolve the issue. I've been charged for 2 screens and my phone still does not work. 10 days into something I should have gone elsewhere to resolve. They have NOT offered to refund my money. I do not recommend this business.
