I used to go here all the time when we could ride our dirtbikes there. Now they want to fine anyone caught riding out there. Just like everything else in this state people find a way to take the fun out of it. Beautiful place but miss the old days when everyone got to enjoy it.

Beautiful! Peaceful! Lots of hiking as it covers a vary large area. There are waterfalls and a great swim hole. There are some very large redwoods to walk through or kayak up big river and spend the day enjoying all the wildlife and beauty.

I've lived here among the redwood forest most of my life and yet this massive expanse of it stands out as containing all of my favorite parts of it. It should be mandatory for people to stop at least once and get out of their vehicle for 15 minutes to appreciate it on the drive between Fort Bragg and Willits.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Go there and see it, just drive through it. The redwoods and the river we saw was great. We took the dogs, and it's dog friendly. We we're happy with that. Definitely worth going back.
