One of the most beautiful areas in the country on my opinion. The size and scope of these trees is something to behold. There's something magical about northern California, southern Oregon for me they no other places have. A combination of the trees, the rivers, the mountains, and so the whole so close to the coast. The vanity is endless and Redwood national and state parks has a taste of all of it. Take your time and walk among the trees being mindful to stop and take it in. You won't regret it

Seeing the tallest trees on Earth is an incomparable experience. All of the roads are safe and well-marked. The road to Fern Canyon is safe, and doable with two wheel drive, but for a dirt road, can be a bit crowded. I highly recommend the Ladybird Johnson interpretive loop.

I arrived after 5pm at Prairie Creek Visitor Center and the staff were exhausted from another day of dealing with tourists. However, my reservation was intact and my campsite labeled, making it easy to claim my home for the night. The rest of the journey was drawn on my own map. Met a former staff member who helped me discover a secret place hidden from the general , woops I have said too much.

We were simply amazed. Being among those tall giant trees. Amazing how they have survived centuries and centuries that are still growing. Some had lost their tops 30 or 40 or 50 feet up and yet we're still living and they had daughters starting at the bottom. Also go see the visitor interpretation Center

In northern California, on the shores of the Pacific is one of the most impressive U.S. national parks – Redwood National Park.
You will see some of the most beautiful forests in temperate latitudes of our planet. You will be impressed by the sequoias – these are huge trees, which rise to a height of 100 meters.
There are many specimens of this species, reaching 150 meters. In America there are places where these trees are so huge that roads pass through their trunks, without to do harm of the tree.
