Beautiful drive. No reception on phone through some parts so I'd suggest being prepared with food and water and blankets just in case you run into problems as it's a bit remote and for the few cars that passed by while I was broke down, none stopped to help at night and I was stuck there until morning. However locals in the area were very helpful come sun up and thanks to a passerby named Josh I had yummy m&ms for breakfast. A member of the local tribe helped finish tire change and I was on my way again. Remember for its beauty you are out in the boonies. Come prepared!

“God’s country” are really the only words I can use to describe this place. I’ve been camping here several times and if you’re like me, you like your camping trips nice and secluded. There is little to no light pollution and the views are absolutely breathtaking. I’d be here every weekend if I didn’t live halfway across the country!

We went for a short snowshoe hike to test out our new equipment. The snow was new with about 6 inches of powder on top of a good base. It is quite beautiful up there most any time of year. Be aware that a snowpark parkign permit is required to use the parking lot.
