Joe's Dining

We always try to seek out local restaurants, and Google recommended this place for vegetarian fare. I love that they serve organic, locally sourced food, but unfortunately this place fell short. The food was overpriced, portion sizes very small, and nothing was particularly tasty. The onion rings contained the outer, inedible portions of the onion. The vegetarian mushroom burger is not actually a burger, but rather a pile of sauteed mushrooms on a bun (no veggie patty) for $12 with no sides included. Incredibly disappointing, and we will not be returning.

Food is wonderful. Service on this particular visit was not very good, especially since the restaurant was not full. Don't let that stop you though. Varied menu and consistent quality make Joe's a great choice for lunch or dinner.

I know this place well because it is close to where I live. But I give up. The owner's been looking to unload this place for years and cannot get a buyer. Wait staff quit regularly because he is notoriously cheap and does not train them properly. The quality of the food can vary wildly and the kitchen and wait staff often need to be reminded frequently about customers' food allergies and end up forgetting and serving ER inducing meals as a result! The owner is intolerant of patrons whose disabilities are hidden, and in spite of being told about them, does not care. Take out orders often have items missing which one has paid for but doesn't discover until already home, as does the printed menu, which regularly leaves out ingredients like the presence of raw onion on a sandwich--something most people do not want. The place has potential but desperately needs a new owner.

Delicious food. Had the chopped bison dinner and kiddo had pizza (I ate this as leftovers the next day..yum). Service was great and very clean. Good quick meal for an early dinner. Will be back soon!

Love the breakfast and I've eaten other Foods there that I love but the wait staff is just really not good. At one point I had to get up to go see if they would take our order. I really am beginning to wonder if they're being paid enough.
