Keweenaw Mountain Lodge

I spent just over a week in Copper Harbor, riding the incredible MTB trails. Some of these trails are accessible via the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge parking lot and other areas. In addition to being a great place to start your ride, the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge will sell you a hot shower for only $5! They do not advertise this service but, Sam from the Keweenaw Adventure Company told me about their showers after I told him I had been washing up in Lake Superior after rides. Since I was camping, I figured bathing in the Lake Superior with biodegradable soap was my only option. Normally, I wouldn’t mind but Lake Superior was only 55-60 degrees and being from Florida, it was super cold! The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge’s shower service is well worth the price. You will need your own towel and soap/shampoo but, the shower area is large and private. Now, you will need to be patient and ask at the desk about the shower, not many people know that they sell showers so, you may need to wait until the desk person talks to the manager. All in all, I highly recommend the shower service at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge. -Nicholas K. (Tallahassee FL)

My family and I stayed in lovely cabin 11, a 2 bedroom suite with a living room and a Jack and Jill bathroom. Lovely view with quiet neighbors. Included is firewood and a functional and pretty fireplace. They will deliver fresh firewood to your house! The lodge is amazing with great wifi for all your needs. Amazing food there as well. Highly recommend the Chef's Salad. Right off of U.S. 41 and very close to downtown Copper Harbor.

Really nice more rustic looking place. But modern updates of course, seemed really clean and well maintained. Food was excellent along with the service... good selection of tap beers, nice place to relax n have some drinks and meal.

Party of 4, all had something different. We all loved our meals. Diane was a great server. Loved the rustic lodge. Just Awesome. Very happy customers. Not over priced, get lots of food.
