Easy to find, leads to a wonderful hike and view of Marquette and Lake Superior. Has both a difficult route and an easy route. The easy route is mainly stairs up the mountain.

Beautiful environment. You can choose to take the rough, steep "expert" trail or the much smoother beginner one that includes lots of wooden staircases. There is a nice bluff view two thirds of the way up or a gorgeous 360 degree view from the three platforms at the top. The panorama includes beaches, bluffs, forests, Lake Superior, snippets of Marquette, NMU's Superior Dome, and the surrounding islands. There is also a cool monument to the first Boy Scout troop.

Considering what's in the immediate area, this is a nice spot. Fun to climb in the winter.
