Convenient for our visit however I am frustrated that on 7/5 at 7ame showers which have posted hours 6:05am til 9pm are locked. I went to use the showers Sunday morning around the same time and also locked. I don’t suppose you can do anything about the logging truck traffic that rumbles me out of bed but maybe you can changeyour misleading sign at the showers.

Wonderful Campground. It is like God's Country up there.

Great campground and park. I love coming here to camp, play, and fish. Wife doesn't care for it as she works in Iron Mountain and it isn't far enough away from the city.

Luckily my kids had a good time this weekend, but the adults did not. Police needed to control the disrespectful campers that went unchecked by the campground. We did not see any staff doing rounds to enforce quiet time during our stay, even after the group that was the cause for so much grief was brought to the attention of the staff. Several campers asked the group to quiet down since they were directly across from families. That only seemed to encourage the group to turn up the music and down some more liqueur. With the gates no longer being locked the traffic into the campground and out was unhindered. The traffic from the site in question continued to go in, out, and around the campground till the police stopped at their site. We were relieved to see the police since the management of the campground would not answer the phone. When the police stopped at the site, several off the partiers fled threw the campground on foot. After the police gained control, we were able to relax and get some sleep. Sunday morning conversation by some in the campground was dominated by the events from the previous nights. I do understand this may have been an isolated event. However, I have to ask, now that the campground is under new management what kind of campground do they want. If you want a place you can cut loose and party, great! If you want a family friendly campground great! Just pick one and then let us know what kind of campground we can expect.
