I feel like this store is declining rapidly.
Used to love coming here, but the past several times I've been in the racks are disorganized, there's almost no staff on the floor, and the security tags have been left on a number of my items (my biggest pet peeve).
The cashiers seem to get worse every time I come in. They never smile, they never greet me when I approach them, and they never thank me. When I was in last week, the girl didn't even say anything once the transaction finished. It was really awkward. How hard is it to smile and tell someone to have a nice day?
Would rather order online and pay for shipping at this point.

Went into Kohls today to buy some new earrings. While deciding on which one to purchase I carried the earrings over to the makeup department(only a few steps away) . Was practically chased down by the Jewelry cashier that I couldn't "walk off" with the jewelry.
If this was behind the counter I would be more understandable. But if you are going to have something on the rack, what do you expect?
This is a very unprofessional policy. If you don't want your customers picking up a product, then keep it behind the counter.

We needed to find someone who could help us, but they were very helpful and friendly. Yes, we found everything we wanted, and more. Then we saved much more than we spent. Love this store.

I've not been in Kohl's in a few years. I have my go-to stores and this simply is not one of them.
However, an ill gotten kitchen appliance Christmas gift g-mama got me from Kohl's made it inevitable. My goal was clear. I'd return the Gourmia Soup Maker and get a new Kurig.
Problem? The cheapest most basic Kurig was $130 😯and to me, that seems ludacris. Especially since the same thing can be purchased at Wal-Mart for roughly $80.
So...I had this gift card that I had to spend. I walked around... The overall store isn't my style, but I bought a few needless items. Much over priced items.
Upon checking out I noticed that the items that were on sale were not rung up at sale price because I didn't have a Kohl's card. Although, to be perfectly fair to this establishment, they did offer me one but I declined since I don't plan on shopping there further.
Conclusion: A clearance pair of Lauren Conrad skinny jeans, Kohl's brand make-up brushes and leftover holiday lip balm... $76.
Never shopping at Kohl's again...priceless.

Kohls is awesome if you like saving money. I went this time because a watch I purchased a few months ago stopped working they swapped it out no questions asked.
