Sales staff are either obsequiously attentive or ignore you. Went to the 199th st store today (4/7/18 ~ 1:00pm) to buy some shoes. Browsed trying to locate shoes I'd seen in catalog, couldn't find them. Meanwhile, 2 gossiping sales clerks paid no attention to me or other few customers in shoe section. Will go elsewhere I suppose.

It's a small store, but the staff is great, and they can help you order anything from the website!  And the return policy is crazy!  I brought in several items I had had for a few years and got brand new ones no questions asked!  They're still working out the kinks with the registers, but I love that we have a local store now!  LL Bean customer for life.
