Lakeway Marina

We had a great time on lake Travis! Great memories and great times! We rented a pontoon boat and it came with a cooler with ice. The process was easy and quick. The gas was included (which was a plus).

We enjoyed Mike the boat rental captain. It was st patty day and we rented a party barge for 15 guys. We enjoyed ourselves. The water was cold and so was the beer. Should we ever go back we would definitely use lakeway again for a boat rental

Great spot for hopping on a party barge!! Bathroom facilities are a little dicey, though, and there was a guy walking his dog across the street who completely FAILED to clean up after a #2. You could tell for sure because he asked a few passersby for a plastic bag but wasn't able to obtain one, and then he sort of walked away from it awkwardly. Overall this marina gets the job done. Ice cream available at the stand, but BE AWARE they run out of Chipwiches early in the day.

They need to work on the walkway down to the boat docks. The entrance is like walking a long hike/bike trail. My 9 year old nephew fell in the process of making our way down to the docks, not to mention try hauling a cooler down that trail in the 90 degree heat. Very inconvenient marina.
