Linen Chest

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried to return an unopened duvet cover that I received as a gift. I only wanted a store credit, not a refund, as I was planning on spending a great deal of money outfitting 2 recently renovated bathrooms and our master bedroom. I was told by a most unfriendly employee that since the purchase was outside of 30 days that a refund or store credit was not possible. Before I could even reply, she said in a firm voice that there was nothing she could do. I explained that the package had not even been opened ....she said one word and it was "nothing". I could understand if I was trying to return a seasonal item, out of season, which I was not. This was my first and last encounter with The Linen Chest. Now I am off to Pottery Barn and Bed Bath and Beyond with my $1000.00 budget to outfit my rooms. Oh and I will be sure to share my unpleasant experience with colleagues, friends and family.

Received our brand new 600 thread count sheet set on July 10th 2012, and it was defective! The top sheet looked like someone had snarled a pointy object in it for about 2 feet. Is that why it was marked down? Are you in the market of selling imperfect, marked down linens to unaware customers? You should inform the buyer about what they are getting first, because we didn't want defective sheets. Our next stop is a complaint at the BBB if this is not resolved in a timely manner.
