Really unimpressed with Zara Homes customer service. I purchased a douvet cover and pillow case for my daughter online, this was my 1st purchase through zara home. I have received them and they are beautiful which is why I gave 2 stars. I purchased it on a Friday afternoon and later on that exact same day I received an email that everything was 20% off. I was obviously disappointed that I missed out on a sale by just a few hours and to top if off that they made me aware of this sale! I called that evening and no answer as customer service closes at 5:00pm, I called the next day and they are closed over the weekend. I sent an email to the customer service email address they had listed. I hadn't heard back Monday so I called again. The male customer service rep was very short and unhelpful, his tone was not one of a customer service rep. He said there was nothing they could do, they will not adjust the price. I asked to speak with a manager and one was not available. I received an email later on that day saying they will not adjust the price. I was shocked as I literally purchased it the same day and really didn't think there would be such a hassle over this. Other companies have honored the sale price in such situations with no issue. They also said to me in the email and quote "that the manager has other duties to attend and are not always available". This made me most upset. I am your customer, I completely understand a manager being busy and maybe not being available right at that moment, but a manager could have reached out to me later at a convenient time for them. This will absolutely be my first and last purchase with them. I'm even debating returning the items even though they are beautiful and customer service is a big deal to me, especially from an expensive store such as this one.

Over priced items which you can find a Homesense for a better steal for better quality. Overall, they do have very nice merchandise, lovely patterns, prints and themes. No real service, in my few visits being there. I haven't been asked how I was finding things or if I needed help.

ITEMS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM ONLINE - they are CHEAP +MISREPRESENTED. Ordered sheets (thread count not mentioned) that looked beautiful online but looked TACKY & not soft. Ditto for 2 sets of bowls that looked great online: One was plastic (WT...?!), the other ended up being tiny, like prep bowls (HUH?).
BEWARE: RETURNS TO YORKDALE O-N-L-Y. "Customer Service" (not store) bound by unbending, this is our policy stance. Despite explaining a disability often prevents me from travel + lifting heavy items (exactly why I called to check about the return policy in the first place), my return window dwindled away as I made 5 phone calls + composed a lengthy email to HEAD OFFICE SPAIN explaining my situation. They REFUSED to send me a RETURN SLIP (online clothing orders come with a return slip).
So let's get this straight: Despite being able to return clothing to ANY one of the dozens of Zara stores, online orders come w/a return slip. But home items can only be returned to YORKDALE?
In the meantime, my return window closed. I then had to appeal for an "extension" on my returns!!! I was told they would make an "exception".
$72.9 billion - that's what Zara's worth
Ortega, who owns more than half of Inditex (Zara's parent company), became the second richest person in the world earlier this year, with an estimated net worth of $72.9 billion, behind only Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Aug 6, 2015
