Purchased a microphone last week as a Christmas present. It was defective. Sure, I lost the receipt. But it was for Christmas and has exchanged hands and traveled the province. Wouldn't even give me store credit even though there is a "Showcase" brand right on the box. Now I have to deal with their customer service. Yay.

Neat 'as seen on TV' products but in general shop around and you'll find the same item at a much better price.
