Great cosmetology program! The instructor is wonderful, you really get your moneys worth and then some! The staff in registration could be more organized and efficient than what they are, perhaps they should consider hiring more qualified people to help with student registration.

I currently attend this school and I have for two different programs. Let me say first that A LOT of people do not read the description of Lively. It is NOT a place for you to be if you are looking for an instructor to teach you. They tell you this upfront, so sorry for those who did not listen AND read. SECOND! Lively has a self-paced program that requires A LOT of reading so if you don't like to read, DO NOT COME. We are in a class from 8-4 PM M-Th and I can say I love the way they do things. Lively will not hold your hand in learning. It is all self-paced. They give you three semesters to complete the course, so at that point, it's all up to you. Lively is a technical center so EVERYTHING will be hands on. If you are looking for a parent-like instructor, Lively is not your place. They do this because they want to teach you to be independent. A lot of people come here and want to play around and sit and do nothing, which is not the plan Lively offers. Once they see that you are SERIOUS, they will do any and everything to help you. They even have people come to classrooms looking for fresh, new employees. Having had attended colleges and universities, Lively is the best place as I am a hands-on learner, so if you are too, this is your place. And someone said this school is ghetto...um not it's not. Those people that you saw that made this place ghetto did not care about their future and were only here to get FA, so don't let that comment stray you away. I love this school and I always forever be a Lively Tech Grad.

Excellent Experience, I am currently a student in the cosmo program and Im a novice in this industry but from start to finish it was an easy experience from registration to getting my supplies. Other students at the school were extremely generous and so polite and friendly and so was the staff. I would recommend this school to everyone.

The school itself is alright. Like what the other review stated it was a bit unorganized. However I did enjoy the Patient Care Technician program!! I loved my teaches they were very informative. The Patient Care Technician gave me extended training and advance skills as well!! This field is very High demanding!!! the employer came by our school and hired us immediately!! I glad to say I love the experience!!
